Water boatman

The patented Water boatman, has a rugged low cost highly insulated thermal still. Brine or polluted water of any concentration that can be pumped, is raised to 40C using the sun, by drawing it through a large coil of black plastic pipe, or Wind or Water turbines driving a plastics water brake.

Both the excess hypersaline or dirty water leave the unit through tube-in-tube heat exchangers, allowing the fluids to leave cold - and the heat to be retained in the still.

Water boatman can be a barge moored in flowing water, then it can either full itself up with fresh water to await collection - or pump the fresh water ashore.

Or the still may be mounted on the ground and the heat taken from the sun.
